They have been great for over 30 years. More power to them. I took my British friends last year, and this year they insisted on it.

I have to say again how exceptional the food and service are here. We decided to sit indoor even though the weather was lovely. I do enjoy the breeze and freshness of Cali air but we had the inside to ourselves for a bit before crowds started coming in by the numbers. We took our time with our ordering and enjoyed our conversation and company along with our appetizers and meals. The sabzi plate wins me over every time as I do not get this quality of rayhoon in Vegas. We asked for an extra plate and our server was so accommodating. The waitstaff have incredible hospitality and manners. We stayed for a long while enjoying hot tea with our bamieh after our meal. There is always so much food. We took our leftovers with us and it was still delicious leftover. Thank you for being such a beautiful spot to enjoy a great Persian meal.

Generous portions and delicious food. Raffi's is a great spot to host large dinner party or if you're in the mood for Mediterranean food. They serve you lavash and all the fixings (onion, cilantro, mint) and I would highly recommend ordering a side of hummus for the table. My friend and I shared the chicken koobideh and salmon plates, and had plenty leftover. The rice was so fluffy and had great flavor. The salmon was cooked to perfection and had a nice crispy outer with a tender, moist inside. The chicken koobideh was full of spices and was juicy. I really enjoyed everything here and will definitely be back. The only downside is that it can get pretty busy and the service was slightly lacking.

Been here several times over the years, and the quality of the food is indeed one of the better ones in LA. It's difficult to make a reservation, and often the wait is 45 minutes. I would say the wait is worth it though, and it is very filling. The service is also pretty good, staff is nice and efficient. Ambiance is dimly lit and cool but lively, a great dinner spot for a date. There is even a tree growing out in the middle of the restaurant. Lentil Soup- first time I tried the appetizer, and it's a hit! Very meaty flavor, but there's only lentils and spice in there! There's plenty of flavor within each lentil too. 5/5 Koobideh (ground beef)- might not be everyone's type of dish since it is just ground beef, but this is some of the best ground beef I've had. Super juicy but not overly oily or fatty like other ground beef types. There is also lots of flavor, and goes great with the rice and grilled veggies on the side. Honestly even just one of those giant kebabs is enough to fill me up, but this dish comes with two at a more reasonable price. 5/5 Soltoni Kebab- Comes as a mix of one ground beef and one filet mignon, along with rice and grilled veggies. Though it is one of the more expensive options on the menu, it is the best choice for those eating here for the first time as you get to try multiple types of meats in one. The filet mignon was super soft and flavorful when it was served hot. However, the filet does get a bit chewier when it cools down, it was not the best meat as a leftover. Seasoning for it all was on point! 4.5/5

Came on a Saturday night around 7pm and it was packed!! They don't do reservations here unfortunately. I would recommend lining up here and join the waitlist 1-2 hours prior to being hungry since wait times are long. This is well worth the wait as this may be the best Persian food I have ever tried! The quality of each item was so good and the portions were huge. Can definitely share one dish between two people and still have leftovers. Ikra (Eggplant Dip)- 4/5: Although this was an appetizer, they gave a good portion for the price. It was savory and good. Chicken Koobideh Kabob- 5/5: This dish was the star of the show! The meat was very juicy and had a fluffy texture. The flavor was really good. The rice had good flavor and was not dry. Soltani Kabob- 3.5/5: This comes with 1 filet mignon and 1 beef koobideh. The filet mignon is very flavorful, but harder to chew through compared to the chicken. The beef koobideh was my least favorite of all 3. It tasted very dry and not as flavorful as the rest.

Amazing food and great ambiance! The service is so fast and friendly. I went with two friends and we ordered two rice dishes, hummus, salad, and chicken. We had enough food for each of us to take a box of leftovers! One of my favorite places in LA. Can't wait to go back!

Some of the best Persian food, great for a large family or crowd! We went with a group of friends (party of 8) and with one member of our party who needed special accommodation for being in a wheel chair. The staff were more than happy and we didn't have to wait very long on a very busy Sunday. Appetizers came out super quick, and were all so tasty! Definitely try the tadig with both stews! The rice was crispy and both stews were extremely flavorful. My husband and I wanted to split a dish since we could tell the portions were huge! Our server helped us put together a mixed meat plate and both the beef and chicken were amazing! We'll definitely be back!

Excellent Persian food in Glendale!! My husband had dinner here with a visiting friend and he enjoyed it so much that he persuaded me to take the trek up to Glendale to have dinner there. Everything we've tried here was fantastic! The pilafs, the grilled meats, the fesenjoon, the desserts.. Everything is delicious! Portions are also quite generous so be prepared for leftovers unless you are coming with a big group and can order more appropriately. Looking forward to going back again soon.

The legend lives up to the hype. Every meal here has been wonderful and here are my top tips: 1. Ikra (Eggplant dip): This is a blend of eggplant and tomato and no words can really describe it. It's delicious with the lavash bread, it's delicious with the rice, I can eat spoonfuls of it by itself, or you can make a wrap with the lavash bread and meat and this as the sauce. It's better than hummus, it's better than baba ganoush, and I don't understand how nobody else has this on their menu. 2. Albaloo Polo (Cherry rice): Definitely upgrade your rice to this. The rice is red from the black cherries and benefits from the extra fragrance. The plentiful cherries add some sweetness that really complements every bite. Not many restaurants offer this on the menu so this is an absolute must when I come here. 3. Chicken thigh: The chicken is tender, flavorful, and they give you big pieces. The chicken breast is still good but not as moist as the thigh. The ground chicken and the ground beef are always tasty. The beef is tender and not chewy. The portions are huge. The servers are friendly. Park at the structure around the corner behind King Taco (where the street doesn't go through because there are tables). When you want Mediterranean or Persian food, this is the gold standard.
